Changemaker Grants 2025

Between 2025 and 2027, "ici. here together." will support 23 Changemakers with a total amount of CHF 1.5 million. This allows them to strengthen voluntary commitment and equal collaboration within their organisation.

These are the new Changemakers for 2025!

More than 100 applications have been received for the Changemaker Grants – a strong performance! The decision was not easy for the jury, as many inspiring organisations applied.  

"ici. here together." will support these 23 associations with a total amount of CHF 1.5 million. This allows them to strengthen voluntary commitment and equal collaboration within their organisation.

Areal Bach association

Areal Bach is a temporary site in St. Gallen. Numerous young families and older people live in the culturally diverse St. Fiden neighbourhood, many of them with a history of migration. The association wants to encourage local residents to help shape the area, contribute their ideas and get involved on a voluntary basis.

Association Cie Après ça je ne parle plus

The Association Cie Après ça je ne parle plus in Fribourg helps migrants navigate society more effectively. The association offers theatre projects where everyone can tell their own story. This promotes cultural diversity, social participation and the independence of the participants.

Association FLAG21

The FLAG 21 association supports the physical and mental health of people with a history of migration through sports programmes such as yoga, running, walking and children’s gymnastics. It also promotes the development of social networks and makes individual skills visible. Anyone can volunteer and take on responsibility.

Association harmonie culturelle

The Association harmonie culturelle supports refugees and migrants in Switzerland by organising language, educational and cultural activities. It aims to break down barriers, promote dialogue and create an open society for everyone.

Choreo-Persona

With its Kune project, Choreo-Persona improves the integration opportunities of people with a history of migration at the linguistic, social and professional level. They are supported in their personal development, given access to cultural and social life and encouraged to help shape the community.

Die bunte Spunte    

Die bunte Spunte in Stans (NW) is designed as a meeting place. The community centre offers internships and supports people who want to get involved. Many of them have a refugee or migrant background. Every three months, ideas are collected and projects developed together at the ‘Mitmachkafi’ evening of planning.
 

ExpoTranskultur Association

The ExpoTranskultur association promotes intercultural exchange in Zurich through art and dialogue. It is committed to empathetic, creative coexistence. People with different cultural experiences develop projects together as equals, characterised by respect and openness.

FAIR! Association

The FAIR! Association in Biel promotes respectful coexistence that upholds human rights, respects ecological boundaries and enables everyone to participate in society. The association promotes education, encounters and engagement through various projects and is committed to an open, diverse and united society.

Freiwerk    

The Freiwerk association offers a place for creative work without any pressure to perform in Basel. Anyone can create something independently, organise their own events and learn new skills in an open, inspiring environment that strengthens and promotes participation and collaboration.

FRW Interkultureller Dialog Zug   

The association FRW Interkultureller Dialog Zug is committed to peace, respect and mutual understanding. Volunteers facilitate language training, socialising and career advice. Refugees, newcomers and locals work together as equals.

GanzDa – Association for holistic integration

The GanzDa association promotes integration through holistic methods, such as movement dance therapy. It helps people to make better use of knowledge in everyday life. The ‘Dialogue and Dance’ project in Aargau builds on seven years of experience with the successful project ‘Bewegte Femmes-Tische’.

Glocal Roots    

The Glocal Roots association is committed to helping people who have experienced flight. It promotes their social participation through projects that enable exchange, learning and encounters at eye level. Glocal Roots is active in Greece, Turkey and Switzerland and is supported by over 150 committed volunteers.
 

HAKILI    

The HAKILI association creates an inclusive space in which all people, regardless of origin or gender, are valued. HAKILI raises awareness of discrimination in society through workshops, events and campaigns. The association also fosters self-determination by giving affected people the tools they need to get actively involved and help shape change.

Intercultural women’s meeting KARIBU

The KARIBU women’s centre in Zollikofen (BE) promotes encounters and exchanges between women from different countries and cultures in a safe space. Through various activities, they learn to cope better with everyday life.

Kariim Association

With its Kariim Café, the Kariim association is creating an open meeting place for refugees and locals in Emmental. Here, people support each other with everyday issues. At the same time, the association promotes the network through offers such as holiday camps, sports and events. If you like, you can make a contribution to the Kariim Café and show your appreciation.

Métis'Arte    

Métis'Arte has been creating spaces for encounters between people of different generations and cultures in Lausanne for 20 years. The association promotes cultural diversity, social participation and voluntary commitment to an open and united society.
 

mosaïk   

The mosaïk association in Biel connects people with different life stories. Together, they organise workshops against discrimination. mosaïk promotes playful learning, fosters civil courage and seeks solutions for harmonious coexistence in which every individual counts.

Sentitreff Association

Sentitreff in Lucerne strengthens the active participation of all people in social life, regardless of their origin and social background. It promotes talents, ambitions and interests and creates spaces for open, tolerant coexistence in the neighbourhood.

Social Cuisine Association

The Social Cuisine Association combines social inclusion, sustainability and education. It creates meeting spaces in Zurich where people can cook, learn and exchange ideas together. The organisation also combats social inequality and food waste and inspires people to act responsibly.

Swiss Association of Youth Organisations (SAJV)

SAJV promotes the political participation of young people, regardless of their origin and education. With its youth session, it aims to involve young people with a migration background more closely, break down barriers and promote voluntary work. The young people are actively involved in organising the youth session.

tiRumpel Association

tiRumpel in St. Gallen designs safe meeting places for and with children. It is a place for resolving conflicts fairly and without violence, realising creativity and playfulness, and introducing and implementing ideas. The children's club is an open, fair space where language and cultural differences can be overcome.

TRAMES

TRAMES Témoignages et Rencontres d'Adolescent.e.s du Monde En Suisse gives young, newly arrived people in Prilly a voice. Their experiences are visualised on a website and create an understanding of linguistic and cultural diversity. Local activities bring together young people from different backgrounds, including Swiss natives, and encourage them to get to know each other.

Urumuri    

Urumuri supports the integration of new arrivals and promotes dialogue with the local population in Fribourg. The association creates meeting spaces, strengthens voluntary commitment and is committed to greater social participation and cohesion.
